Senior Backend Developer (Remote)

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems to support business needs.

  • Develop robust, secure, and efficient backend solutions using Python3, SQLAlchemy, Postgres, and Pydantic.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend developers, to gather requirements, estimate timelines, and deliver quality solutions.

  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as performance optimizations, code refactoring, and process enhancements.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.

  • Deploy and maintain backend services using AWS.


Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in backend development with a strong focus on Python3, SQLAlchemy, Postgres, and Pydantic.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Proficient in AWS services, including RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, etc.

    • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.

    • Experience with containerization tools like Docker.

    • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Methodologies: Experience working in Agile teams and fast-paced environments.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with other backend frameworks and technologies.

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
